In June 2015, the Achasta Ladies Club was able to establish a scholarship fund at Lanier Technical College.   Dollars for Scholars has become our signature charity.  We are providing Lumpkin County residents, students and their families a chance for a brighter future through education.  Each semester Lumpkin County residents and students of Lumpkin County High School, Lanier Tech Educational Center, or Mountain Education Center are encouraged to apply for scholarships awarded from ALC Dollars for Scholars to attend Lanier Technical College. 

One way to contribute to the ALC Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Fund is to remember someone special or honor a special occasion or memory.  A lovely acknowledgement card will be sent to the recipient or their family.   Your contribution is always tax deductible.
